ArtiMinds RPS +Vision offers a broad set of templates to solve robot tasks requiring to react to vision detection results. Each template provides wizards to specify detection jobs, sanity checks and result modifications like scaling, offsets and matrix transformations. Templates like Center Detection make it easy to center the robot on a visually-detected feature like a screw. Low-level templates like Point Condition allow to check if the vision detection result is in a specific range.

  • Step 1: Configure the hardware

    Choose either a wrist-mounted or stationary vision system, specify network settings, calibration infos as well as a 3D model for visualization in the robot configurator. Easily request vision detection results using helper tools to validate the set up.

  • Step 2: Add +Vision templates

    Add new templates to your robot program to trigger vision detection jobs and react to the results. The Move Linear Detection template allows to teach a point during programming, which will be adapted automatically during the robot execution based on the vision detection results.

  • Step 3: Setup sanity checks and transformations

    Use wizards to setup sanity checks and transformations of the vision detection results. Connect to the error output of a vision template to handle detection errors.

  • Step 4: Relocate robot motions

    Relocate robot motions using vision detection results – for example to relocate a dispensing tool-path.

  • Step 5: Analyze live sensor data

    Track different detection results over time in the live sensor data and optimize your process.
